Sara Hayes joined Teigland-Hunt LLP in February 2007. She assists in the documentation and negotiation of trading agreements, including ISDA Master Agreements and master confirmation agreements. Sara also performs research on various aspects of derivatives and commodities trading, with a focus on issues related to emissions trading and carbon markets.

Sara brings almost a decade of experience in the energy sector as a consultant and policy analyst focusing on development and implementation of emissions trading programs, environmental regulations and commodity trading. She has specific expertise drafting a variety of regulatory programs targeting Northeastern U.S. energy markets. She has also worked to develop consensus responses to U.S. federal programs and has advised on the development of emerging energy markets.
